Golf at Azuri

In the heart of Azuri, The Nine has redefined the golfing experience in Mauritius. It is the island’s first 9-hole par-3, created by IMG and managed by The Golf Company, built to the highest international standards. A full round takes 90 minutes, perfect for an early start before work or a twilight game. With three tee boxes on every hole, golfers of all abilities feel welcome.

The first four holes trace the Rivière du Rempart, while the next stretch weaves through varied scenery. The ninth hole, inspired by the iconic 17th at TPC Sawgrass, ends the game with emotion and style. Natural slopes, water hazards, and bunkers add both challenge and pleasure. The clubhouse rounds out the experience with its restaurant, bistro pub, and pro shop, creating a lively hub where sport meets conviviality.

Hole 1

A downhill par 3 leading to a peninsula green with river views and lush vegetation. Three tee options and a breathtaking opening shot.

Hole 2

A descending par 3 toward a riverside green framed by a majestic tree and natural slopes forming a scenic amphitheatre.

Hole 3

A gentle drop toward a green on the river’s edge, guarded by a towering tree. Accuracy matters to steer clear of the water beyond.

Hole 4

A long par 3 along the ridge above the river, with strategic bunkers and sweeping views. A real test for the eye and the swing.

Hole 5

The shortest hole, yet technical, with an elevated green and tight run-off areas. Approach with finesse: lob, chip, or a creative putt.

Hole 6

A downhill par 3 toward a spacious green guarded by a small lake on the left. A helpful slope brings slight misses back into play.

Hole 7

A light uphill par 3 toward an accessible green protected by a right-side bunker. A natural slope pulls left shots back toward the flag.

Hole 8

From the course’s highest point, a downhill shot to a rolling green protected by a front-left bunker, with broad landing areas on both sides.

Hole 9

A homage to the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass, complete with an island green and a discreet bunker. A final swing full of feeling.
